A concert for four horns and piano 

Henry's work is a rather fanciful French horn quartet plus a mood piano, together creating a romantic atmosphere of the ocean and adventure. Notable is the full rich harmony so characteristic of orchestral horn parts, sometimes dissonant, sometimes changing directions like the waves on a beach. Replete with horn calls and a climatic and mysterious ending, Henry’s quintet is challenging and rewarding and a fresh and unusual addition to the horn literature. Medium difficulty.
